Shelly's back to work & anonymity

I was so honored to be a guest in Shelly’s home last week. She has created a dynamic space that utilizes every opportunity to show off her own creativity as well as those of others. I was surprised to see an original Donna Barr on the wall, since I too have an original by her. It just made me adore Shelly even more. She also shared with me this wonderful piece of art of blue cowboys on a guitar. I even was welcomed by Toulouse and Alfonse.

Shelly has some wonderful plans for additional space in her place that I really hope she pursues. She is highly talented and I’m honored to have been able to spend time with her. I hope that someday she finishes the unfinished painting of her son and his friend, which is something I would definitely buy and hang in a place of prominence in my home if it were ever for sale. I’ll just have to be satisfied with the four pieces I did buy… for now.

I collect art, and am always looking to make new artist friends so I can get new pieces for my collection. Shelly’s got a unique style to her artwork that would fit in so well with some of my other eclectic pieces. Besides, she’s got a great sense of humor and I’d love to spend an evening with her making sweet conversation.

Todd is one of the first I’ve met here. Kind, generous, just the right amount of OCD, a wicked sense of humor and such a tease. Looking forward to meeting him in person, when he transforms from an elaborate computer program, designed to tell me exactly what I want to hear, to a real person that I would happily hug.

I would love to meet this talented young lady. I’ve enjoyed our conversations about art and appreciate her determination to succeed. Everyone should purchase one of her paintings cause she’s on of the few that’ll make it.
Besides she said I’m “fab” and hopes to look as good as me when she’s 53. All I can figure is internet connections in England must not be as good as in the States. Photos must be fuzzy.

We survived the post 9/11-dotcom economic crash and visionless folk of Bremerton, WA. Wouldn’t have made it without the moral support and encouragement of this guy. Bad times are done and I’m lookin forward to sharing better times with this best of all friends.

Haven’t seen Shelley in three and a half years. We both made the great escape from WA state at the same time. I’m surrounded by her art and still wear the Aztec Sun God mask she made for me.

she was sitting at work, eating her lunch, cheering me up, and minding her own business, when a customer AND the mall security guard came in and started harassing her. She held her own with them, though…what a WOMAN!!!

I love that he is a constant seeker, a Magellan of the mind and spirit. He bares his soul to everyone of us here with great courage and no shame. His dedication to his family and his lady love fill me with hope for humanity.

I suscribed to him to learn more about jazz. His taste is exquisite. Reading his posts humbled me and made this ol’ broad realize, she DOES NOT know everything. His posts have made me see the beauty and joy in my own life. Thanks.
